Are you hiring employees or interns at this time?

Not at this time. Sorry! If and when we are, we will post job descriptions here.

I might be interested in becoming a literary agent some day. Do you ever offer informational interviews to people like me?

We would love to do that—it’s so exciting to see this career path catching on among an ever-broadening pool of people. But alas, outside of a couple of formal mentorship programs in which we participate whenever we can, we rarely have the bandwidth to offer one-on-one informational interviews.

That said, as part of Neon’s subscription newsletter, Anna has written down what she generally tells people considering this career path. It’s behind a paywall, but if you’re a student and/or member of a marginalized community and can’t afford a subscription, shoot her an email—she’ll send you the text for free.
